HIGHLIGHTS OF 2010

2010 was an extremely busy and exciting year for The Angeltones^®. Here are a few highlights:

We rang in New Year's Eve by performing with our good friends, The Roustabouts at Covered Bridge in Manalapan, NJ.

In February, we appeared once again with The Roustabouts and also with Strictly 60s and The Snakes at "Rock 'n' Roll Cares", a concert to benefit the victims of the Haiti earthquake in conjunction with the American Red Cross. The concert took place at the Ocean County Library in Toms River, NJ. We had a great time appearing with these three bands and we thank our buddies, The Roustabouts, for including us in this concert for such a worthy cause.

In June, we appeared at the Randolph Township Library for the third consecutive year. We performed our first ever "All Motown Show", featuring songs by artists such as Martha & The Vandellas, The Supremes, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and The Jackson Five! What a great audience we had up there! We would like to thank Lorenza Vidris and the Randolph Township Library for having us back again.

In July, we made our first appearance with Mike Byrnes and his All-Star Band at Doolan's Shore Club in Spring Lake, NJ. Mike put on a great show and organized a fabulous luncheon for this event. We were thrilled to discover that two of the tables of guests came to see us, because they had seen us at the Fairways the previous year with The Roustabouts. What a great compliment! We thank them for coming. We will be appearing with Mike again at this venue on two dates this coming July. Many thanks to Mike and his lovely wife, Isabel, for this opportunity.

In August, we appeared at the Downtown Millville Car Show in front of Quinn Broadcasting in Millville, NJ. Our performance was heard on WSNJ AM Radio and hosted by our good friend Corky of "Corky's Time Machine". We even had the honor of being introduced by Joe Terry and Frank Maffei of Danny & The Juniors at this event! Incredible! Millville and Corky have been very kind to us. We thank you for having us back.

Also in August, we appeared once again with our good friends, The Roustabouts at the West Long Branch Summer Concert Series at Friendship Park in West Long Branch, NJ. Thanks to Joe DeLeonardo for having us.

In September, we made the first of our three appearances to date at The Lamp Post Inn, in Pine Beach, NJ (we also performed there in October and again in December). We will be appearing there again in February 2011 and hope to continue appearing at this lovely venue. We have great audiences there with a sincere appreciation for music we sing. We thank them for this ongoing opportunity.

In October, we performed at the Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, MD. What a beautiful setting! This was a lovely event and we thank the Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists for this exciting opportunity.

We are looking forward to another exciting year of singing and celebrating the oldies in 2011! We are continuing to add dates to our calendar on a regular basis, so keep checking back.
